It's been awhile since I've posted. Nothing major going on here but lots of little updates that I don't want to forget. The girls are talking up a storm and coming up with some crazy sentences and ideas. Imaginations are running rampant. They know all their colors, shapes, and some letters. They can count to about 30 with a little help. They remember things that I can't believe they remember. Camille sings all the time. Their favorite tv shows are Super Why and Caillou on PBS.

Avery: "Mama, (if a) porcupine come in house Awy run outside"
Brelynn: 'Mama, when me big me dwink coffee, too. Me lub coffee." A girl after my own heart. And no, she's never tasted coffee.
Camille: (holding strawberries at the store) 'dees dawbewies aw willy, willy budiful' (these strawberries are really, really beautiful for those of you that don't read toddler). She had a 13 word sentence last night but of course I can't remember it now. Dan and I just stared at each other in disbelief.
Speaking of imaginations...Avery is now afraid of the dark. It took awhile to figure this out. She was waking up at all hours of the night and turning the lights on in her room and all the girls would wake up and have a party. Like jumping on their beds, singing, and laughing parties. This happened for three nights before we took the lightbulbs out of their room. Holy cow then she freaked. No more parties. Instead, she was hysterically screaming and pounding on the door. She screamed about lions attacking her, elephants on her bed, and alligators and porcupines in her room. After a few days of comforting, trips to the library for "I'm not afraid" books, and strategically placed night lights she's doing much better. And we're all sleeping better now.
Other than that, they are fully potty trained except at bedtime. No more pull ups during the day or naps. yay!
And in other news, we got our first pets. Dan dug out the old fish tank and we filled it with a beautiful assortment of fish. The girls love it and have named a few of them. They like to feed them and find the ones that are hiding. They love going to the pet store for fish and supplies and looking at all the animals. They even got to pet a puppy (which we will not be bringing home anytime soon).
