Wow, the girls are six months old already. The time is flying by, but I have to say I don't mind right now because life is starting to get much easier as they get older. We are on a beautiful routine most days now. The girls wake up between 5 and 6 in the morning, drink a bottle, and go back to bed. They sleep for another few hours and are usually up by 8am. We play, change diapers, get dressed, take medicine, and get into the high chairs for breakfast between 9 and 10. They love to eat soilds. They eat cereal, fruits, and veggies now. So far, bananas and peaches have been favorites. After breakfast they all go down for a nice nap (usually 1-3 hours). They wake up and play, drink a bottle between 1 and 2, play again, and take a short nap before dinner. Dinner is usually at 5:00. They play for about an hour after dinner then take another short nap. They are very close to rolling over and love to stand and jump. While they are napping Dan gets home and we are able to finish our dinner just as the girls start waking up. We play for a few hours and then they drink one more bottle before bed at about 8:30. Jammies on, snuggles, and bedtime by 9:00 usually. If we're lucky they go to bed without too many protests and sleep until morning.
Their reflux is finally starting to get under control. We figured out what dose of medicine they should be on and it is working. I think the solid foods are helping, too. We had their 6 month check up on 12/28 and they all had a jump in their weights...woo hoo! As compared to other 6 monthers:
Avery was 12 lbs 10 oz (3%), 24 inches (5%), and head 16.4 inches (27%)
Brelynn was 13 lbs 8 oz (9%), 24.5 inches (12.5%), and head 17.2 inches (85.5%)
Camille was 11 lbs 10 oz (0.58%), 24 inches (5%), and head 16.2 inches (15%)
